every night, steve and i lie down with jake to get him to sleep. he has his frog to snuggle with and his milkshake to drink (milk with strawberry nesquik powder) - he pets my hair for comfort and wants us to tell him a story - lately he wants stories about monsters!
we also say our prayers:
now i lay me, down to sleep
i pray the lord my soul to keep
the angels watch me through the night
until i wake in morning light
amen
the other night before i got into bed, jake said "here comes big mama" and said "you're going to break the bed" - it was funny
